On June 17th every family received another food package. Our local project manager Waleed had prepared them to be picked up at the local shop. Each family received 25 kilo of white flour, 25 kilo of brown flour, 10 kilo rice, 10 kilo sugar, 5 liter oil and 0,5 kilo tea. As you can see on the invoice of goods locally purchaged prices are quite similar to prices in the Netherlands. Quite expensive!

We cannot tell you how happy they were and on behalve of the families a big thank you!

The situation in Sana’a is still incredibly hard. The families have hardly any income. Also it is unsafe on the streets.  

We are confident that we can send them a package again in 6 weeks. Thanks to all our great donors. Really you change the lives of these families. 

Now we are on to the next fundraising period. Our aim is to send packages every 6 weeks. We are grateful for everyone who will support us for the next round as well. The coming months and probably for much longer these packages are still very much needed. Our wish is to provide every family with a food package at least every two months, preferably every month. The Foundation is in close contact with them to ensure we are quickly informed when other basic needs need to be met, such as water, energy, clothing and education.
