Our mission and core values

Support families in Yemen in their basic needs – that's our mission!


The foundation was built on the personal core values of founders Maysoon, Yvette and Bas. Seeing themselves as global citizens who lend a helping hand to those in need. Convinced everyone can make the world a little better, every day. Driven by the love from and for their families, the satisfaction they get from their work and connecting people around them. This is how they make a contribution to a better world.

 

With the support of WorldChangers, the Yemen Family Support Foundation started with their first project to donate food packages to 11 families in Sana'a. Our goal is simple and clear, to keep on supporting these families and expand where possible.

Maysoon Mansoor

Special advisor


Raised in Yemen’s capital Sana'a, Maysoon experienced the inhumane situation since the war started in 2014. In 2019 she fled to the Netherlands with her children. After a period of 6 months in an refugee center, she settled in a home in Amsterdam. As part of her new life, her desire is to help families in Sana'a as much as she can.
